Hellooo

About me front.png

& Welcome

I'm glad you wanted to learn about me, or maybe you just ended up here by accident.

My name is Aadi Jain, I am a game developer, video game geek, a generalist and a good speaker(from what I hear).

Oh yeah, also huge believer of trying new and different things! Obv.

What I do for fun

In my free time, I enjoy playing football, do video editing, listening to dubstep / hip pop, traveling and doing adventure activities. For a break from the constant screen time, I love doing calisthenics or go for drive.

MY DESIGN PRINCIPLES

be kind

Be kind in how you talk, interact and give feedback to others - and especially to yourself.

learn to own

We are not perfect and this makes it fun: you have to make mistakes, otherwise you won't learn and have an impact in the future.

Game Designer Network of India (2025-Present)

Partner / co-founder

At Game Designers Network of India (GDNI), I lead partnerships and strategic initiatives focused on expanding global access for Indian game developers. I work closely with platforms like Game Developers Conference to secure scholarships, festival passes, and international exposure for emerging talent. My role centers on building structured pathways for developers to access mentorship, funding conversations, and global networking opportunities. I actively drive ecosystem growth by connecting grassroots talent to international markets and strengthening India’s presence in the global game development landscape.

Team Supercharged (2023-Present)

Founder & Lead Technical Designer

I led a cross-disciplinary team to build Supercharged, a mechanic-driven FPS developed entirely in UE5 using Blueprint scripting. I handled gameplay systems, technical art, and environment creation, maintaining a cohesive “inside a corrupted computer” visual theme while managing production across college, teaching, and full-time work. I showcased the game at major events like IGDC, Game Developers Conference, Gamescom, GamingCon, and Comic Con, using both player and industry feedback to refine design and positioning. I also drove marketing and community growth, building trailers, Steam assets, and outreach materials, pushing the game to 1.8K+ wishlists and 1.9K+ demo downloads globally. Alongside this, I created pitch decks and documentation for publishers and investors, while actively presenting the project at meetups and conferences. The game is currently in development for its first Steam chapter, with plans to expand it into a multi-chapter IP.

Gamer2Maker (2022-Present)

Unreal Engine Mentor

At Gamer2Maker, I founded the first Unreal Engine–focused program, shifting the curriculum from Unity-based learning to full-scale Unreal production. I scaled it to 100+ students, guiding teams to build and ship real projects while teaching the complete pipeline from prototyping to Steam-ready builds, including version control and Steam integration. I designed the end-to-end curriculum, built reusable systems and documentation still used across batches, and ran live masterclasses to expand reach. Alongside this, I mentored students through hands-on projects, focusing on technical design, production discipline, and real-world problem solving, establishing one of the only programs in India covering the full game development pipeline.

Lightfury Games ( 2024-2026)

Technical Designer

At Lightfury Games, I started by building gameplay prototypes and pipelines through an experimental UEFN project before moving onto the studio’s flagship title, eCricket. I took full ownership of the UI/UX pipeline, leading its execution for the GDC 2025 build by aligning design, art, and engineering into a polished cross-platform experience. Alongside this, I heavily focused on prototyping and iterating core gameplay controls, especially batting and bowling systems, driving multiple design explorations to refine feel, responsiveness, and player feedback. I was promoted during high-pressure milestones for consistent delivery and leadership, and went on to own core gameplay systems like controls and input mapping. As Pod Lead for UI/UX Integration, I managed cross-team coordination, improved workflows through automation, and contributed to key gameplay design decisions while ensuring high-quality builds through cinematics, FTUE, and final polish passes

Visceral Technologies (March 24 - October 24)

Technical Artist

I worked on multiple Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN) projects, handling both technical art and design integration across environments, sequences, and gameplay systems. I contributed to the Mars Pit map by fixing VFX issues, building custom post-process materials, and creating cinematic sequences for the Kraken boss pit. I designed and optimized environments using Nanite and Lumen while maintaining performance across Fortnite platforms, and implemented gameplay-driven visual feedback systems synced with player actions. I collaborated with international teams on asset pipelines, Blueprint scripting, and rapid iteration workflows, while also building internal tools and reusable materials to speed up production. I was also involved in early prototype and experimental maps, including a Marvel crossover and PlayPal Realms concepts, helping define visual tone before production focus shifted.

Gamer2Maker (2022-2024)

Community Manager

I built and managed a 2K+ member game development community, driving consistent engagement through events, showcases, and structured feedback sessions. I streamlined communication between mentors, students, and management using organized Discord workflows and automation tools. I also curated top student projects and live events, increasing visibility for Indian developers through social media and YouTube.

Freelance game & media designer (2018-2025)

Freelance

I delivered a diverse range of freelance projects across game development, 3D visualization, and media production for international clients. I built game prototypes using Unity and Unreal Engine, supporting early production phases for indie studios through rapid prototyping and Blueprint scripting. I created architectural visualizations for global clients, handling full pipelines from modeling to lighting, and produced 30+ promotional videos for Dubai Expo startup showcases. I also edited music videos for recognized artists and gaming content for YouTube creators, blending cinematic storytelling with high-engagement editing. Alongside this, I managed a small freelance team, handled tight deadlines, and coordinated end-to-end delivery, building a strong reputation as a multi-disciplinary creator across design, art, and production.
